We have named our community, Fenimore – after the property's previous owner, E. Fenimore Johnson, whose father Eldridge Reeves Johnson invented the Victrola and founded the Victor Talking Machine Company. Fenimore Johnson was also an inventor and developed underwater motion picture equipment and obtained 27 patents for his inventions. We are proud to build on a site that was the home of such a productive and respected Main Line Family.
The stately old homes of Gladwyne served as our inspiration for Fenimore. High quality materials and artisan crafted details are incorporated into the homes to give the community a cohesive character and help the new homes blend seamlessly with their neighbors. Fenimore is an opportunity to live in a beautifully designed and appointed home in one of the country's finest neighborhoods.
