Leading the Way since 1974 - Celebrating 40 Years!
The homeowners of Yellow Rose Farm sought a multi-purpose barn to serve as a humble yet spectacular gathering place for friends and family. Their vision included a spacious entertaining hall for parties as well as comfortable stalls for two beloved retired show horses that their children had grown up riding. The barn’s floor plans also included a back-yard home office for the owner’s (future) retirement as well as a three-car garage for tinkering.
This spectacular 5,446-square-foot barn features stalls for beloved show horses, a spacious entertaining hall, an office, and three-car garage. Conical stucco piers support a roofline that provides a loggia adjacent to an outdoor courtyard with fountain and gardens. Board and Batten siding, a standing seam metal roof, and functional venting cupolas highlight the exterior. Repurposed red oak from a local barn was used for the entertaining hall’s wood plank cathedral ceiling with post & beam timber framing. With their pastoral setting, the home and barn look like grand, compatible friends welcoming the family, their beloved horses and frisky Jack Russell mixed terriers, as well as any guests fortunate enough to visit.
The Yellow Rose Farm Barn garnered the 2014 Regional Synergy Award for Best Accessory Building – Home Builders Associations of Bucks & Montgomery and Chester & Delaware Counties.
